This means some javascript is causing this to happen. Have you checked your browser console for errors?
Btw: I don’t have IE to test, so: which exact plugins do you use and how can I reproduce this? Or you can always mail me an admin account so I can check on your site.
It doesn’t seem to be giving me an particular errors for the pages this is happening on.
It may be easier for me to mail you an account, where is your email located?

And on which pages is this happening?
Edit: you’re using W3 Total Cache. I’m thus referring to

In short: disable the Minify part and try again.
It happens on every post with the shareaholic and disqus php hard-coded into the post template.
I just tried disabling minify, then every other option as well as deactivating the plugin. It still does not seem to be working.

Since I don’t have IE (no windows), I need you to give me a specific page with maybe a screenshot (via mail) indicating the difference for IE and firefox.
http://i47.tinypic.com/11790qu.png Here is a screenshot with Chrome (it pretty much looks the same in Firefox) on the left side and IE on the right side.
Edit: also here is the post that was used for the screenshot
Another development…it seems to be running interference with the jquery I use to hide the forms on this page http://pieglobal.com/contact-us/<a/>. Though the function also uses the javascript for animated collapse.

The page you mention here:
http://pieglobal.com/articles/winter-pipe-ruptures-was-adequate-heat-provided/
has no reference to events made easy in the source code anywhere. So EME is not the cause of your troubles here.
That’s what is so confusing.
The plugin is deactivated now, and shareaholic and disqus are working in chrome and firefox, but if I activate it those plugins cease to work on that particular page.
Either way, I’ll just have to test out some stuff. Thanks for the help.

Let me know if you find anything. Or activate the plugin and let me know, so I can check for possible errors on that page.
Franky, I started using Plugin Organizer for WordPress and it lets me disable plugins for specific pages and posts. Works like a charm and everything seems to be in order
