A) Cities come directly from location data.
B) For what?
C) The only shortcode is [SLPLUS] or one of the documented variations. They all do the same thing.
Not quite sure what you are trying to do here, the example you’ve provided is not clear to me.

Let me try this again and yes, it sure does sound confusing they way i typed it out.
What i am asking is if there is the ability to create a drop down list for selecting, City , State and Tag so as i can have a multiple crossreferece’s of stores. Perhaps i am missing or should purchase one or more of your plugins that may produce that result, but i have been unable to visually see anything that would allow such a function with your plugin. IF one of you plugins allows such a fucntion on three levels please email me or reply here.
Any feedback would be most helpful.

edit: I just seen that my store locator reads : Version: 3.1.3 ( With a Green Tick ) , is there an update/s that i should have had ?
You should be on 3.3 or higher, 3.8.3 is the latest release. You can get the update directly from WordPress. If it does not show up automatically (it should) you will need to delete your SLP install and re-install. Jus search “Store Locator Plus”. All settings & locations will be retained but it is ALWAYS a good idea to backup your WP database first.
As for multiple cross-references, there is no cascading filters on the pulldown selections. They are simple filters meaning things like City/State pulldown only serve as hints on places people can find your locations and types the selected city/state in the address box for them.
The tag filters (Pro Pack) and category filters (Tagalong) restrict what results are returned by limiting the results returned to only those that match the given tag or category.
Yes, more work needs to be done to add functionality here and I plan on doing so in Tagalong at some point but there are only so many hours in a day and paid consults (like I’m working on today, NOT plugin updates) and paid feature requests will always take precedence. Food on the table is first, plugin hacking second. 🙂
BTW, the objective is to build upon Tagalong going forward for all categorization features. It uses the built-in WordPress taxonomy system and is much more powerful than the tags in Pro Pack which are custom and a pain to maintain. The other filters like “by city, by state”, etc. that are driven by location data (v. categories) will end up in Enhanced Search at some point. Pro Pack will be relegated to bulk location management and administrative tools and little-if-any search features.

Update complete, no issue to report thank you very much for the support your offering.
Will also move forward with purchasing your other plugins and perhaps i can find a work around for something more streamline.
