Mobile ADS
-
Hi
Is it not possibly to fix so we can add mobil ads to the theme?
-
You can add ads and other elements to the Mobile theme thanks to the hooks and filters used in the Mobile theme.
For example, to insert an ad below the content, you could hook your ad function to
the_content
.Can you give me some more info about how i should do this? Like a guide how i should do it.
I dont find the theme that the mobile site use. Where is it?
I think the problem can be that it have some trouble to index my site or something.
The Jetpack mobile theme is available under modules/minileven/theme/pub/minileven
However, you do not need to edit the plugin files to insert the ads; you can hook into the theme using existing filters such as
the_content
You can find more information about filters here:
http://codex.wordpress.org/Plugin_API/Filter_ReferenceAre you currently using a plugin to insert ads into your content?
I dont use any plugin. This theme have a place there i can put in some google ads: http://www.khairul-syahir.com/wordpress-dev#.UOab7HfwqAh
Sorry but i dont find the theme.
Try installing this small plugin to add Adsense ads into the Mobile theme, without having to edit theme files:
http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/jetpack-mobile-theme-ads/I hope this helps.
The plugin dont work. So what should i do? I wont the ads to be in the bottom of the page.
Did you enter your Google Adsense information in Settings > Mobile Ads Settings in your dashboard?
You’ll want to create new banners for your Mobile visitors, and once you have created them in Adsense, you’ll be able to add them to the Mobile Theme thanks to this plugin.
Hi, I tried the above steps and it didn’t work. Immediately I installed and activated the Jetpack Mobile Theme Ad plugin on my Site, I started seeing the following errors:

Then I went on, installed and activated the Mobile Theme Featured Image plugin and set up the Mobile Theme Ad plugin with my Adsense account details. Still the same error continue to show up.
What do I do next?
@azubuike Since the problem is not related to Jetpack, could you please start a new thread in the Ad plugin support forums?
http://wordpress.org/support/plugin/jetpack-mobile-theme-adsIs there any way to move the advert?
I want to make it at the top of the post not the bottom.@shteca Do you use the Jetpack Mobile Theme ads plugin? If so, please post in the support forums here:
http://wordpress.org/support/plugin/jetpack-mobile-theme-adsAs someone who doesn’t use adsense, is there a brief tutorial about how to use the hooks you mentioned previously in the thread?
Big time beginner, so any tips are much appreciated as I would like to get ads into the mobile version.
Thanks,
KJ

http://pippinsplugins.com/playing-nice-with-the-content-filter/Anther solution would be to use the plugin I mentioned earlier:
http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/jetpack-mobile-theme-ads/Thanks Jeremy,
I tried the mobile theme ads plugin, but that only seemed to be for adsense. I am currently displaying another ad network, so not sure that I can do anything with that plugin
