Hi! Sorry for this newbie question but im installing wordpress for first time and i want to know which version of MySQL is the best for use it in a new Wordpress 2.2.1 installation...
My host allow me to choice between 4.1 and 5.0 Which should i choose?

Currently it's not a big deal which one of the 2 you choose, but since 5.0 is the newer developed line you'll probably just want to go with it. As far as I know there aren't any backward compatibility issues between 5.0 and 4.1, so you shouldn't see any problems. Wordpress works fine in both.
