I recently installed Subscribe2. I tried to subscribe using an alternate email to test things, and the confirmation email has an error. The link that should be clicked to confirm only had my website www.megtherepublican.com as an active link and not the confirmation code following it.
for example:
www.megtherepublican.com88888888888
The eights would not be clickable. If I copy and paste the code and put it in my browser it works. I need the confirmation link to work though.

Have you checked this in a different email client to make sure it's not your email program?
If you can cut and paste the link and it works it sounds more like your email programme is not coping very well with URL links containing a = sign
