I guess this this could explain something:
    http://trac.wordpress.org/ticket/4316

in any case, without warrenty, this is my solution at time:
replaced wp-includes/widgets.php with the old version

    I agree…no data getting shown with 2.2.1.

Yes, it works. Whenever you upgrade WP, you need to upgrade your plugins too. Get the most recent version.

And no, that trac isn’t the problem.

Yes, upgraded now and it rocks!

Whoops..sorry about my post…it is just the built in RSS feed widget that still doesn’t work with complex URL’s.

    KB still rocks πŸ™‚

This plugin works on WPmu, too which is invaluable. Thanks to SN for giving it a try and successfully installing it for me.

It works on WPMU, but it isn’t really intended for that. Don’t use it on WPMU unless you don’t mind allowing your users to place unfiltered HTML on their pages.

In normal WP, only admins can edit widgets, so it’s not a problem letting them put unfiltered HTML into the widget. But in WPMU, you’re letting anonymous users put unfiltered HTML on your site.

Be careful. Just because it works on WPMU doesn’t mean it’s a good idea.
