    I purchased a theme and now having a hard time using it. I got it uploaded to the hosting server but its not publishing. So 1. I need to know if I am publihing it correctly 2. Can I use WordPress to update it instead of Dreamweaver or another FTP protocol 3.And i downloaded the newest version of WordPress to my computer is that an app i need to run to be able to use wordpress as a CMS?

    You can upload and activate a theme directly in wordpress by going to the Appearance tab in the admin panel and then selecting the “themes” option. There you’ll see a tab that says “install” and you can simply upload your wordpress theme .zip file through there. If you need more help consult the website that you bought your theme from and no you do not need to run, donwload, or install wordpress on your computer in order to use wordpress on your website.

    Im not sure if I am doing this correctly . I created an account at http://thegrindcommissionclothing.wordpress.com/ but in my toolbar I dont see any option to upload a theme…I see appeareance-themes and shows all the themes i can purchase or use for free but no upload or install
