WXR import/export skips the comments

    I’ve been trying to import posts from a WXR file, however the import skips all the comment entries.

    I tried exporting my current WordPress posts to take a better look at the schema (since “http://wordpress.org/export/1.0” just leads to a 404), and it does not export the comments, either.

    Does anyone know where I can find more detailed information on the WXR schema? Why doesn’t WordPress export comments in WXR, either?
