Change default status for Anonymous event submissions

    Would love to use the plugin to accept event submissions. We are not allowing registration on our sites. The anonymous submission option is perfect, but it would seem that the events submitted become published right away.

    I’m sure I could hack up code, but I’d rather not if there was a hook I could set to change anonymous submissions to draft or pending rather than published.

    Hello,

    You don’t need to hack the code 🙂

    You have to create a user (with subscriber role) and set it as a ‘Guest Default User’ in the settings (Settings > General > Event Submission Forms > Anonymous event submissions)
