I replaced the comments and posts tables with my backed up comments and posts tables. In my admin area, I can see my posts & comments. Even after I edit the categories, the category does record a post made in that category.
However, my blog doesn't show anything at all! Even in the categories, it says "Not Found".
Why aren't my posts showing?

i found out something interesting. all my posts are scheduled to post in 1000+ days! O.o How do I remove that?
Roger on the empty and not found. It's not you.
You may have to restore the full DB and not just those two tables.
Wordpress also gets really weird if the dates don't match it's definition of time. I'm not saying thats the problem but if all the restored dates are in the future, they won't show on the blog but you can find them in the admin.
If for some reason, the auto incremented id's in the tables you didn't restore don't match your backup - expect that kind of fun.
That "state" would be easy to achieve with a partial restore.

nvm I found the source of the problem.
my server's time is set 3 years behind ><
