Plugin for zooming images

I am looking for a plugin that will allow a user to zoom in on an image. (It’s not for an image gallery, but for individual images on separate pages.)
I tried a whole bunch of different plugins available, and spent a few hour working on it, but not one plugin that I tried actually worked!
Can anyone tell me a tried-and -true plugin for zooming in images that you know for sure works?
