I'm getting the following displayed on my site with this plugin:
Warning: opendir(/homepages/31/d88438850/htdocs/vrt/blog/wp-content/plugins/last.fm/cache/) [function.opendir]: failed to open dir: No such file or directory in .../htdocs/vrt/blog/wp-content/plugins/last.fm/last.fm.php on line 269
Underneath that, it shows 2 album covers.

Is there actually a 'cache' folder in the Last.fm plugin folder? It could be that the plugin cannot create this folder due to privileges, or you need to manually create it. In either case I would suggest creating a 'cache' folder under /wp-content/plugins/last.fm
