On trying to copy, I got an error message stating “This plugin needs to be network activated”
When i then went to check, the new blog had been created but nothing appeared to have been copied across, requiring me to set everything manually

I deactivated the plugin and noticed i get this error when i do this manually.

so obviously whatever is causing this is stopping the plugin from working correctly
