When I check my wordpress database, I saw more than 5000 entries for wp_comments, where as in reality, I only have 1000-1500 comments. Are the excess 3,500-4000 entries spam? I often check spam as ‘spam’ when moderating comments, is that why? This is making my mySQL big (11MB for comments).
