error on activate sidebar widgets

    Hello
    I did install a theme without widgets
    so I have downloaded the plugin widgets but when I try to activate the sidebar wodgets it’s not working and it says “Plugin could not be activated because it triggered a fatal error.”

    could you please help me to install the sidebar widgets?

    I’ve got the same problem !

    and I would like also know what I should write in my theme to show the widgets, because the theme I’ve downloaded seems not to be ready for the plugin

    2.2 has widget support built in — unless I am mistaken your theme being not-widget-friendly makes no difference
