   I used my host's cpanel to install wordpress on my site. Unfortunetly, it installed an older version (2.0x). Before I upgraded to 2.2, I installed the hemingway theme and the blogroll block worked perfectly with it. When I upgraded to Wordpress 2.2, I get this error with blogroll:

   'cat_1' in 'order clause']
   SELECT * FROM wp_categories WHERE cat_ID > 0 AND link_count > 0 ORDER BY cat_1 ASC

   Just to double-check myself (I'm known to accidently screw stuff up) I went and re-installed the the old version of wordpress and blogroll worked, then I tried it again with 2.2 and I got the error message again. Can someone please point me in the right direction?

   I'm such a newbie (i've only been using wordpress now for about 4 hours) so can someone be as specific as possible to help me resolve this problem? Any help will be appreciated. Thanks

   the theme you are using is probably using a deprecated template tag for displaying the blogroll.

   check your theme.
