Might help to add a footer, and clear the floats.

Thanks for the word. I’ll see if I can do something to it – my PHP knowledge is coming along slowly… but thanks to everybody’s help it has surely come along faster than I thought!

No problem… I won’t send you any email. Just check the site often – I’m trying to build a following to help everybody out with good deals. Today’s edition has a free Sporting News subscription for two years.

I don’t think email is what Root was talking about…. but that’s jsut a guess.

Isn’t that skin a public one for free download? I mean, I’ve seen it on 2-3 blogs by now… hmmm…

mrstangblb,
Site looks nice. I’m not sure if you would prefer instead to have the meta and feedback parts of the post loop the same width as the storycontent, but that’s the only thing I noticed offhand.
MaxT,
I don’t consider that a problem, for people to download and use/modify layouts that are public domain. And I don’t think it’s out of line to post here when they complete the initial installation and are looking for feedback. You’ve been hitting that point on more than a few posts.
If the new blogs section here is ever reduced to a few guys going *hmmm cool dude* there is no point in having it. Due to the unmoderated flaming that used to go on new users scarcely ever get any feedback worthy of the name at all.

@ hugh
Situation is : people install default WP, get that public skin (nothing wrong with it, I never said so) then they come here asking for comments… And what should I comment? See the point?
No flaming, nothing personal…
Best Regards, MaxT
Thanks for everybody’s input. I never meant to start any trouble – just wanted feedback. Thanks very much for a great resource, too, WordPress developers!
