   I wondered whether it was possible, via a plugin or hack, to enable a more advanced search of posts via the admin (not for front end users)

   For example it would be good to be able to run queries which show thing like:

   "show me all posts which dont yet have an excerpt"
   "show me all posts which dont have a particular custom field completed yet"

   etc.

   Is there anything that can do this?

   This is definately something that should be made into a plugin
