I've installed 1.0.2 for a site a while ago and it works great. Then I installed 1.2 for another site and it also works fine. I've tried a half dozen times to upgrade the 1.0.2 site to 1.2 following all of the readme, faq, support, & forum documents and I can't seem to figure out why my 'successful' upgrade of 1.0.2 to 1.2 leaves me with 1.0.2. Any tips?

Where do you see 1.0.2 ?
My guess would be that index.php isn't being fully changed ? -

The version is set inside a file inside of wp-includes. Possibly you didn't overwrite everything when you upgraded. You might want to retry this (delete wp-includes and re-upload it) just to be sure everything works smoothly in the future.
