wpClassifids theme unable to send emails

Hi! I have recently installed this classified theme by templatic and it works all fine but of this one thing.

It says that on new user registration it sends an email to that user with password and other details (it does not let the user set a password when signing up).
However, I have observed that emails are not being sent for some reason. Another inquiry email (supported features by theme) is working fine though.

Does anybody know what’s going on? I am a little confused here. I checked the spam folder to make sure if they are being delivered to spam of my Gmail, but that is not the case. I even waited for some two days to check if the process is little slow with my hosting, but that doesn’t seem to be the case.
