Is there a list anywhere of the proper chmod settings for Events Manager Version 5.3.2.1? I started building a new site last week, nky.mobi, and I moved it from grid hosting to a server the other day. On grid hosting it worked perfectly. After I moved the site, only super admin is able to post an event from his BuddyPress profile. All other users, when they go to the events page, get the error that they are not logged in. chmod permissions always get out of whack moving to that server, so I’m pretty sure that’s the problem. Thanks.

  • did you try Settings > General > User Capabilities > capabilities like edit_events and/or publish_events ?

if the site is asking other users to log in, then it might be at a WP level where this is going wrong. if it’s saying you don’t have permission to access this page, then it may be an EM issue, which should be resolved by following the above suggestion

It was the way my chmod file permissions acted when I moved it to the server. All settings in your plugin were right and remained the same, I just had some major issues where a lot of stuff in the whole WordPress install was not writable. It wasn’t your plugin at all. I just ripped the site down last night and rebuilt it from scratch and everything is A OK. Your plugin is awesome.
