the_content() not working

    Hello Everyone,
    Yesterday my site is working fine, but today “<?php the_content(); ?>” is not working.
    Actually yesterday i have updated a few plugins, but today i ahve deactivated them too, still its not working.Please kindly suggest me a solution for this.

    I have used this code “echo $post->post_content” instead of the_content(),all the content in the page is being displayed but the short codes,forms codes are not working.
    Please kindly help me with this issue.

    in which page you r using <?php the_content(); ?> i mean existing page or some customization you have done .

    Can you please check whether looping is correct or not.

    the_content must be within The Loop for it to work.
