What about caching plugins?

    Hi,

    I spotted that when using a caching plug-in, the same quote is shown on a page every time when I open the page (“This is because the content of the page is cached, dear Watson. This is what caching plug-ins are for.”)

    While this is not a bug, I could imagine an extra option (in the admin panel) to refresh a quote on page open – after, let’s say, 10 milliseconds from when the page load is completed (or something like this).

    Please note that I am not a web designer by any means and I know sh*t about Ajax but such an option – if it is possible at all – would definitely help to overcome the “cached content” issue.

    If you’re still dealing with this or for someone else searching, check your options to see if the cache is minimizing the javascript. My ajax refresh stopped working at some point and I was able to track it down to this issue.
