• OK, so I have an LJ and quite a few friends there, but my main blog is my WordPress one. I’m getting tired of posting something in both blogs and would like to combine them in WordPress. I’m not sure if there’s a plugin that allows for what I want to do. I don’t want to cross post, if possible, because I’d like to lead my LJ readers to my wordpress, but still show up in their friends’ pages when I update. The only way I’ve been able to think to do this is by typing in an excerpt in WordPress, but having the excerpt show up in LiveJournal. Is there a way to do this? Or maybe there’s a way to do this with RSS feeds?

Also, I like the private function of LJ, which allows certain posts to be viewed by friends only. Can I do this in WordPress as well? Would I have to have each friend subscribe or is there a way to have LJ users login to my WordPress using their LJ screen names and see private posts?
