How stable is 1.3?

    Hi,
    I’m working on launching a new site and have decided to use WP. The category tag is a must have for me though so I need 1.3. How stable is the current beta? I’ve browsed through this topic and see various issues. Will I be able to get 1.3 up and running and launch a site with it – and is this advisable? I really can’t work with 1.2 as it is…

    I upgraded to the latest nightly 8/26 and now all my plugins are broken. I think I should give up this alpha testing.

    Yes, I always do that. Now I get to keep upgrading til it’s fixed.

    That may be awhile because WP 1.3 does not appear to “break” plugins – you might start a new thread with what your problems are specifically.

    I’m running pretty good on 1.3 (alpha 2). However, the wp-recent-links plugin I had installed broke. Still shows fine on my main page, just does not appear anymore in the Admin page. Not a huge issue for me since I barely have time to fiddle around with my blog. However, I definiftely give 1.3 thumbs up. 🙂
