  • Sadly for me this is the only thread I could find when searching “USPS” while searching for support. No USPS is a deal breaker for me as I live in the US and their shipping is very competitive and I already have a commercial account with USPS. I purchased the theme club package for $200 and $25 a month and am now finding support for anything “premium” Woothemes lacking.

The hypnoticzoo link doesn’t give me any info about what happened to the extension. There’s no download link there. Maybe I’m missing something.

I am wondering the same thing, it looks like all the shipping calculators are gone, the links for UPS, USPS, FEDEX all 404 or the download links are just gone.

Download link on these pages gives a 404

I need this functionality, where did it go?

no, but since that appears to be the extension developer, you could contact them to find out.

    @bheadrick
Their site is chaotic to say the least and there pricing is all over the place. Before they develop plugins I think they should work on developing their own site.

Has anyone found an answer to this? I sold my client on woocommerce based on those modules being available, and now they are MIA.

FYI I emailed support and this is what they told me:
Sorry about the issue here, we’ve had to remove these extensions for maintenance at the moment. They’ll be made available again very soon! Thank you for understanding.

    When is “very soon” ?

We installed and tried to use the USPS plugin on our site and it has been a disaster. It can not accurately calculate shipping, offers box sizes that products can not fit in, etc. We reported the issues and after 4 or 5 revisions the problems were not resolved. We were told there would be a fix soon but nothing has been issued and now Woo is silent on any progree. We are seriously considering dropping Woo after 8 months and many $ and going with a professional shopping cart for our needs. Woo has really dropped the ball on this. If you are selling virtual products it would be a great site but for physical products with shipping it doesn’t work so well. There is also no way to print shipping labels, nor edit a shipping invoice amoung many other problems.

Gampopa, how complex is your shipping setup that you’re having all these problems?? I’m having a site built now, just purchased the USPS plugin and your post has me worried now….

The USPS shipping extension is no longer available. I’m amazed at the ineptness of the developers of this plug in.

USPS is getting ready to make a lot of changes to their service in another week or two. Is Woo going to implement these changes? Here’s an email I received from Endicia:

    Dear Customer,
On Sunday January 27, 2013 the U.S. Postal Service® (USPS®) will implement new pricing for all mail classes. To learn about the upcoming changes, attend one of our live webinars titled “Understanding the 2013 U.S. Postal Service® Price Change”.

Key changes to 2013 USPS pricing include:

Parcel Post is now Standard Post and only available at Retail locations
Parcel Select is a comparable mail class for Endicia customers
First-Class Mail International Parcel is now First-Class Package International Service
Shippers will see significant increases in these rates
International Electronic USPS Delivery Confirmation® will now be available, and FREE, for First-Class Package International Service and select Priority Mail International packages
Applies only on shipments to Canada
Nineteen additional countries to be added in April 2013

    January 27, 2013:
The new USPS postage pricing takes effect at 12:01am.

    Hello all.

I’m hoping to shed some light on the confusion here. We are the original developers of the majority of WooCommerce shipping plugins that we sold via their store.

We’ve transition our extensions and support from WooThemes to our own store which can be found at http://www.extensionworks.com.

@willieo – If you are an existing Woo customer, like @babbsela, we’ll be happy to provide updates and support for our products moving forward. Just send us your details to sales [at] extension works dot com.

@dax702 – I believe this will have no effect on our code as we request the rates, either standard or commercial via their API.

@gampopa – feel free to send the details of the issue you have mentioned and we’ll take a look at it.

If you don’t get any joy, I’m one of the owners of the business, so please feel free to drop me an email anytime to shawn [at] extension works dot com

@shawn_smith, I went to your website via your link, and I can’t find anything regarding UPS, USPS, or FedEx.
