When I add a link to my link manager it does not show up on my blog. I have tried clearing the cache. Also, I activated/deactivated some of the widgets on my site and they are also not showing up. What am I doing wrong?

Assuming your are using WordPress Version 2.2, you need to use the Links widget for links from Blogroll to appear in your sidebar.

Well, as a stab in the dark (since you aren't providing any code or any links - which you *should* when asking questions like this) do you have a blogroll set in your sidebar code? Do you have your links set to "display" in your manager?
If your theme doesn't have a spot to show your blogroll (or it's there, but commented out) then nothing's going to show, no matter what you do. Same with your links manager - if you have them set to not display, then they won't.
(answered at the same time as Michael - and he has a valid point, as well.)
