thanks, i have that in my events formatting information, how do i get the search feature to appear on a page?
see Settings > Pages > Event List/Archives > Show events search
did that too, but the calendar still shows up?
try to uncheck or choose No at Settings > Pages > Event List/Archives > Display calendar in events page
calendars don’t have the search function atm, only the events list does.
i dont think anyone is understanding, I want a page with the search feature to appear on the site.. can i hard code that on a page? shortcode? how can i make it appear?
if you are showing a calendar, then it won’t matter if you show the search form, as the calendar won’t take the arguments unless you manually code this in with php
if you want a search form just like on our demo, then you should disable the calendar so the page shows events as angelonwl said above, then the search form should appear if enabled in Settings > Pages > Event List/archives > show events search?
I have done that, but the calendar still shows
If your calenar is still showing, then see above:
try to uncheck or choose No at Settings > Pages > Event List/Archives > Display calendar in events page
that is set to no
Thats why I am pulling my hair out, I have gone through all those settings before I came to the forum. I even tried to uninstall and reinstall but its still the same 🙁
there must be something you’re doing here to make that calendar show… are you sure you’re not using a shotcode on that page instead of making it an events page?
otherwise, try creating a new wp page, then go to Events > Setting s> Pages > Events List/Archives and assign that new page as your events page, then it must work if your settings are correct.
