Change a page to Article

Hi, in my wordpress blog i’ve some old pages which aren’t anymore necessary, but i don’t want to remove them, because i want that an user can reach them through the search field.
So i decided to switch them as an old article, so it won’t appear in the blog home page, but it’s available for search
