When i copy&paste the embed youtube code, wordpress eliminate it.
Yes i deactivate the editor option in my profile, and yes, i tested http://www.seepyou.net/blog/2006/12/21/youtube-embedded-player/
the result is the same, when i publish the correct code, wordpress doesn't show the video and when i edit it, the code lines have disappeared.
Please, any help?

This just started happening to me, too. I haven't used the visual rich editor for years. I tried the alternative player as well, and it does the same thing.
I have definitely posted YouTube videos in the past and those posts are intact.
I'm running 2.0.11.
Any help greatly appreciated - I'm soooo confused?!

This is probably worth a new thread, but I'll add it here anyway...another thing that used to work is now gone weird. That's the <small> tag.
I've used it before, but today I created a post and wrapped that tag around some text. When I did save-and-continue-editing, the tags had been removed entirely. ?!

Fixed.
For other reasons, I had installed the plugin Role Manager, decided it wasn't helping me accomplish the larger objective, and so I removed it. What seems to have happened is that it applied its own permissions to my administrator status, deactivating unfiltered_html. Even though it was gone from my system, its effects were not. So I reinstalled it, activated it, changed my permissions back to what WP had defaulted to, and all was well.
Bad plugin, bad bad plugin.
