   My Archive list in the sidebar is starting to get very long.

   I'd like to put the archives in a jump menu but have read that jump menus are not search engine friendly.

   Does anyone know of a plugin or method that will allow me to make my archive list more compact in the sidebar and search engine friendly at the same time?

   Ok, Let me ask it this way. How are people with a long list of archives listing those archives in a search engine friendly way? I'd appreciate any recommendations anybody has to offer!
