I’m hitting a bug using the EditFlow 0.7.4 with WP 3.5.

    What I do:
    Create a post
Save as a custom status (in my case “Staff Draft”)
    Page refreshes, post saves
I see “Post updated. View post” at the top of the page

What I expect to happen: “View post” takes me to a preview link, ie ?p=numberhere

What I happens instead: “View post” links to the monthly archive, ie /2012/12

When I save as a Draft (WP Default category) this does not happen.

This is a known bug that’s a result of what I implemented to fix this bug. Custom statuses aren’t fully supported in core — hence why they don’t necessarily work terribly well.

You’re welcome to downgrade back to v0.7.3 which will restore the behavior of the slug being set. Alternatively, the “Preview” button should work for previewing the post.
