    I have a number of themes that I purchased from themeforest.net
    Most of them are not working when I use them on my multisite wordpress. I enable them to the network, then when I activate them I get errors like:

    Fatal error: Call to a member function load() on a non-object in /home/xxxxxxx/public_html/wordpress/wp-content/themes/libra/core/Yit.php on line 74

    or:

    Warning: require_once(/home/xxxxxxx/public_html/wordpress/wp-content/themes/Leatherbound_Blue/widgets/widget-comments/recentcomments-widget.php) [function.require-once]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/xxxxxxx/public_html/wordpress/wp-content/themes/Leatherbound_Blue/functions.php on line 7

    Fatal error: require_once() [function.require]: Failed opening required ‘/home/xxxxxxxx/public_html/wordpress/wp-content/themes/Leatherbound_Blue/widgets/widget-comments/recentcomments-widget.php’ (include_path=’.:/usr/lib/php:/usr/local/lib/php’) in /home/xxxxxxxx/public_html/wordpress/wp-content/themes/Leatherbound_Blue/functions.php on line 7

    Then I won’t be able to access the blog’s dashboard anymore.
    Is this problem from WP or htaccess or hosting settings? or is it caused by the themes themselves?

    Appreciate your help

    Have you asked the theme authors about the problem?

    Yeah some didn’t reply, and others asked me to update the theme which I tried and didn’t work. Thought I’d find out if it’s a theme thing or not in the first place.

    Yeah, it’s definitely a theme thing when the theme is throwing fatal errors at you.

    If you can’t get support from the theme authors, then you could try a different theme.

    Thank you. It seems so, and it seems a lot of theme authors don’t test their themes on multisite.
