• Hi everyone,

My WordPress site is in French. I have defined in my wp-config.php the language as ('WPLANG', 'fr_FR');, which is fine.

Now, I use Joen’s fine Fauna theme, which gives the possibility to localise with its own .po/.mo files.

My problem is that, until I figure out how to change this situation, I have to name the .mo file with the exact name as the one configured in the config file, that is fr_FR.mo for the theme to work in French.

I would like to build my own translation, and configure the theme to look for:

fr_CA.mo instead of fr_FR.mo (as I am a French Canadian). I want to clearly separate my translation from the original à la française.

    How can I do that?

    Thanks in advance.

    Patrick
