phpnuke -> wordpress?

I am wondering if it is at all possible to abandon the cumbersome phpnuke and migrate all of the posts from the news module, specifically the news module (with no regard to users – although that’d be nice since there are 23,000) to wordpress? I’d rather not go back to prehistoric times and then copy/paste one by one of many many many news articles. I like wordpress about 10,000X more than Nuke now – and I would love to find a solution 🙂
