An update: It didn’t happen with a fresh post, and the symblos are only appearing on several posts just on the front page.
Not as worried about it now, but if anyone knows why they show up, I’d sure appreciate the knowledge.
Ok, had to do a restore of the database due to housecleaning issues. The null symbols ie; “pop-culture.�” are all over the place now. Is there a plugin that will get rid of them? I have about 60 posts to clean by hand if not . . . who has the time? HELP!

I too have the same symbol. Is there anyone that knows how to get rid of them. Its not from writing/copy/and paste from word. They weren’t there before I transfered. and now they are randomly appearing. Plus word isn’t used.
