Widgets are disabled
-
Just upgraded to 3.5 and no longer able to move widgets or open/close different sidebar areas. Also getting a warning popping up on dashboard that says: DataTables warning: JSON data from server could not be parsed. This is caused by a JSON formatting error.
Not sure if this is something to with problem?

Sounds like a JavaScript/jQuery conflict. Troubleshooting information can be found here: http://codex.wordpress.org/Using_Your_Browser_to_Diagnose_JavaScript_Errors
Moving to How-To & Troubleshooting.
Turned on script debugging and it partially fixed the problem.
I can now open up the various widgetized sections but still can’t drag and drop the widgets.

Okay never mind – I found the error. A plugin called WordPress Social Share Buttons by http://www.designchemical.com/blog/
A new version is almost out – http://codecanyon.net/item/wordpress-social-share-buttons/discussion/2927356
Turns out is an issue with my theme “Core”. They say they will have an updated version out tomorrow.
