Cannot Post. Post -1

I upgraded to version 2.1.3 from version 2.0.8. I had tried the upgrade earlier when 2.1.1 was released but had to many problems so I resorted back to 2.0.8. When 2.1.3 was released I decided to give it another go but I have the same problems.

I have no problem upgrading it, and my theme does not break, but I have two problems.

Firstly it takes two attempts to post. If i type something up to post, I press post, and it comes up with posted, view site, but it doesn’t actually post. (it also says post # -1 in the address bar) but if i paste the post back in and post it again it works fine.

The second problem is, i cannot delete posts from the manage post page. It comes up fine, and looks like it deletes it (goes red and prompts to delete) but then, it’s still in the list. I have to go to edit post, and then click the delete post button if i wish to remove a post.

Are these known bugs? Any known fixes. If not i’ll just resort back to 2.0.8 again.
