Moving a Root install messed up my wp-admin

    This is why we don’t edit core WP files.

    You will first need to download a fresh copy of WP. Then, you will need to use FTP or your hosts CPanel to upload the fresh copy of “wp-admin/options-general.php”, overwriting the “tampered” one.

    If your site still does not load.. you will need to use one of the methods mentioned here to change your site url back.
