Vanished: Text/Image to Show When Cart Empty

After updating to the latest version of the plugin the image that should display when the cart is empty is no longer functioning properly. I also tried removed the URL to the image and simply added in text and the text also did not work. Hopefully this is a quick fix as I am approaching the deadline to launch this website, thank you for your time.
