    Hi,

    I have a few pages where I do not want the pinit button to display. There aren’t any images on these pages, they are a directory list of pages that branch from this page – I have the pinit DESELECTED in the settings for that page – (as it IS set to display on most pages and all posts, from “Settings”)

    However it is still displaying and I can’t seem to remove it.

    It looks silly because not only is it displaying on a page without images, it is displaying the count for the number of times the images have been pinned on pages that are linked to this page.

    Since this is a directory page, that potentially is going to show a large number of pins for a page with out any images. I need to correct this asap.

    Please help.

  • Could you give me a link to one of the pages where this is happening?

    Yes, I can, thank you.

    You will notice the pin count is 1K – this is coming from the post –
    “Elie Saab Spring Summer 2013 Ready to Wear”

    So, I installed the plugin and it worked fine for me. There could be a glitch somewhere in the plugin code, or there could be a conflict with another plugin you’re using. You could try to uninstall that plugin and reinstall.

    There is a quick fix to this, however. For the page you sent me, you would add this code to your CSS file:

    .page-id-5845 .pin-it-btn-wrapper {display: none;}

    You can mimic this code for all other pages that have the glitch. Simply replace the page id number (5845) with appropriate number. You can find it by looking at the ‘body’ tag in the source code (just right click the page and select ‘view source code’).

    Hope that helps!

    Thank you.

    I tried the css fix and that works – I don’t believe that I have any conflicts as I only have basic installs & on purpose – so I’ll go with the CSS fix for any pages that I have to utilize this format on. (Most are normal posts and I have no issues.)

    Thank you so much ♥
