   Well after installing the newest version of Wordpress I have added the Meta Tag plugin (several of them)
   and well none work..for example the Another Meta Tag you can add the meta description and keywords for the main page, but for individual posts it does not work..

   is their other meta tag plugins that work with the newest version of wordpress?

   For Meta Keywords, I use the option that Ultimate Tag Warrior offers.

   For Meta Description, I use Head Meta Description.

   Both seem to be working just fine on a 2.1.3 blog.

   Correct. Neither of what I listed does much on the main index page. They both do a LOT more on the single page view.

   I installed the Head meta desc. and when I check my meta tag I have a small problem.

   For some reason, it is taking the main (for the homepage) desc. and then adding on top of that the individual posts, being more than 250.

   How do I get it only the posts, and then only/less than 250
