Changing permalinks direct from cpanel.

Hey guys, I just transfered my site from one host to another but kept the same domain name, SQL settings, and all. The only issue i have is when i go to the the site url i can load the front page although the menue is not there and i cannot access other pages within my site, I believe that this is caused by the permalinks that i set before the transfter, They are st to %Postname% and i think they need to be the defult in order for it to work, I cant access the WP dashbord or get to the login page, If someone could have a look at it and let me know how to fix it i would be very happy to post your name on the front page, Lol.
