hi I finally got my website to run with the changes I had made to match my logo and by mistake I placed a code in the theme functions and erased it right away…but I had saved the changes and now I cant see my website or wordpress dashboard.

this appears when I go to my website or click anything in the wordpress:

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected ‘<‘ in /home/mglines/public_html/wp-content/themes/responsive/functions.php on line 18

please help meee!!!! I spent A LOT of time modifying the website since im not very code savvy…

    PLEaSEEEEEEEEE
I need my website running so that I can apply for jobs (it’s my portfolio) Im using Filezilla (dont know if this helps)

I know this thread has been done for months. However, I accidentally edited the functions.php and tried to upload the original functions.php through filezilla and nothing happened. What do I try now?
