DiffPostsPerPage and Recent Posts

Hi Chip! I’ve been using your plugin to show only the last post on the front page, while using Recent Posts widget to show a list of my last five posts in the sidebar. After upgrading DPPP to version 2.1 and setting Blog Posts Index Page to 1, Recent Posts widget “catches” that setting and only shows the title of my last post. It didn’t happen with the previous version of DPPP I was using (1.8.x.x). Any hint on how to fix this will be appreciated. Thanks in advance.
