• Everytime we paste from an email or something the WSIWIG inserts stupid DIV tags. Is there a way to filter out DIV tags from being pasted? We don’t need them and it screws everything up.

I know I can paste as plain text but we’d rather not.

    Thanks!

  • Don’t paste content from emails into WordPress as the pasted text may also contain the email’s own formatting. In some cases, this formatting will stop your pages from being displayed correctly (if at all). Paste your text into NotePad (or another text editor) first, then copy from NotePad into WordPress.

Thanks, I appreciate the tip but all that does is strip the div tags for me. I’m trying to do the exact same thing just without the added step.

I know the WYSIWYG editor can filter other things so I hoped this as well.

We are always pasting the same thing so the DIVs are the only thing we need completely stripped.

Thanks for any additional help 🙂
