Serve Theme-Specific Images through Photon?

    Hello everyone,
    I have been doing a lot of thinking lateley about photon. It is great for images because they can be served through a CDN for free. My question is for theme-specific images (not in uploads) in lets say /wp-content/themes/mytheme/img/ directory, is there any way to push them to photon as well so they don’t have to be uploaded through the webserver itself every time?

    I know this can be don with other CDNs but i’m looking to do this for smaller sites that don’t need a CDN for their content, and are just looking for a boost in Page Speed.
