I’m not familiar with worpdress MU but since with the actual version, you have to add PHP code to a theme file to enable the plugin, I would answer “NO”.
In v0.9, you will be able to use a shortcode to add the slider in a page or in a post. I think that will help to manage the plugin in multi-sites intallations.
I’m going to read about multi-site to learn how plugins have to be developped in order to support network intallation.

I’ve tested it, if you use the plugin with shortcode, you’re able to make it work on a multisite installation!
