    Hi,

    thanks for your question.

Unfortunately, I don’t think that this is possible and I don’t have an idea here 🙁
The reason is that the “search bar” is actually a “filter bar”. This means, that the DataTables JavaScript library (which adds this functionality) is starting with the full data set and then reduces that according to the filter term.
It might be possible to change this with custom programming (see http://www.datatables.net for the library’s documentation), but unfortunately I can’t really help with that. Sorry for not having better news here.

    Best wishes,
    Tobias

    Thanks for the quick reply!

It’s just that I don’t want people to see any data unless they search for the exact word, or more specific an address.

Another solution could be disabling the auto find when users are starting to type in the search bar, this might be enough.

    Any ideas? 🙂

    Thanks!

    Hi,

yes, I see what you are trying to do here.

Unfortunately, I can’t really help here, as I’m not the developer of the DataTables JavaScript library. I only added it to WP-Table Reloaded. Changes like this require some more JS programming using the DataTables API. For that, you should check the documentation and maybe ask in the forums at http://www.datatables.net.

    Regards,
    Tobias

    Hi,

I have left it as is but with the option of displaying only one row at a time so that not all data will be visible right away.

    Thanks again!

    Hi,

ah, ok. I know that it’s not a perfect solution, but indeed, you found a good workaround.

    Best wishes,
    Tobias
