I’d recommend paying for someone to resolve this

I doubt you would find many theme developers that would bother supporting IE6 any more (unless, of course, if you specifically pay them to do just that). Most just support IE8 and above as of now.
Even Microsoft itself is trying hard to get rid of IE6. Why on earth would anyone bother to support it?

Because some governments and NGOs have systems and software that depend on older WinX and IE6. It’s that simple. And it’s not a perfect world, either, when it comes to what browser people want/need to use.
Yes, exactly. Unfortunately some people still use it.
I was wondering if there was a way that I could show only basic text and pictures for IE6? Like a simple website because now everything is upside down neither photos neither text is shown
You might be able to find a very simple, basic theme that would do that, but it’s getting more and more unlikely as HTML and CSS (and other things) move further away from IE6 compatibility. Unless you know quite a bit of HTML and CSS, you may need to hire someone (as Andrew suggested…).
Test drive some themes and see what look “close” — then you might be able to use Conditional CSS to get it functional.
Hi,
thanks.
Does this work like this: I put this code into the head section
<!–[if IE 6]>
Special instructions for IE 6 here
<![endif]–>
and in place of special instructions I put
<link rel=”stylesheet” href=… for a new CSS file which will be for IE6?
